In the informal gathering of the top leaders of this major Scandinavian bank, Richard Scase shared his thoughts on the key features that make up effective leadership styles in professional service organisations. Drawing upon his experiences of working with some of the world's top corporate leaders, he outlined the ten key ingredients that put some leaders ahead of the curve. He stressed the need for future companies to prepare themselves for the work aspirations of the I-pod generation. To attract the best talent in the future, companies would have to invest heavily in their leadership capabilities. This would be one of the major challenges facing the banking sector in the twenty-first century.
