In his Opening Keynote Speech to this Executive Agency of the Government Treasury, Richard Scase outlined what he saw to be some of the key features...Are we coming to the end of the recession? According to many of the indicators that are now appearing, the UK could be leading the rest of the World out of recession. The signs are looking better than for the rest of Europe and even the United States. House loans are up and manufacturing order books are no longer in decline. After the doom and gloom of the last few months, the Chancellor’s predictions of the beginnings of a recovery by the last quarter of this year may not be too optimistic.
